Vollrath Appoints Fred Fritchen as Director of National Accounts

Vollrath selects Fred Fritchen to oversee its national account strategy and strategic sales team.

The Vollrath Co. has named Fred Fritchen as its director of national accounts. In the role, Fritchen will lead the manufacturer’s strategic sales team and oversee its national account strategy, the company said.

Vollrath said Fritchen brings extensive experience in the foodservice industry. He also has experience building customer partnerships, leading strategic growth initiatives and helping organizations create value for major national account customers and channel partners.

According to the company, Fritchen’s responsibilities will focus on strengthening key customer relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and aligning strategic sales efforts with the needs of Vollrath’s customers. The role combines leadership of the strategic sales team with oversight of the company’s overall national account strategy.

Larry Deutsch, senior director of sales, said in the release that Fritchen offers a strong combination of foodservice experience, strategic account leadership and a proven ability to build lasting customer relationships. Deutsch added that Fritchen’s experience and leadership would be valuable as Vollrath continues its efforts to strengthen strategic customer partnerships and identify opportunities for growth.

Vollrath also said that Andrew Cronau recently joined the manufacturer. Cronau participated in FER’s How To Spec Live in September, according to the release.

The release did not specify Fritchen’s start date.
