Mace Construct to Trade as Forco After New Year Rebrand

The UK contractor will adopt a shorter name alongside a new corporate strategy and productivity targets through 2030.

Mace Construct will begin trading as Forco after the new year, following a period in which it will continue to use its current name. The contractor said the new name is short, impactful and easy to pronounce.

The rebrand follows the separation of Mace Construct and Mace Consult into two businesses in March. The agreement allowed Mace Consult to retain the Mace brand. Mace Construct will move to Forco after the new year, when the company plans to unveil a new corporate strategy and productivity targets through 2030.

Mark Reynolds, Executive Chair, said Mace Construct had spent 35 years raising standards and helping to drive the industry forward. He said the new name represents a commitment to being the UK’s most forward-thinking contractor and its most productive by 2030.

Reynolds said the qualities that made Mace Construct one of the UK’s most respected contractors would remain: its culture, values and the people who have underpinned its success. He added that clients can expect the same teams, the same commitment to delivery and the same drive to create lasting places and infrastructure.

The company will continue to trade as Mace Construct until the new year. The Forco identity is therefore set to take effect alongside the new strategy and the 2030 productivity targets, rather than immediately after the March separation.
