The tire maker’s consolidated revenue rose to Rs 7,968 crores in the September quarter, while net profit increased 13% and the board named a new finance chief.

The company said Indian Operations carried strong revenue growth momentum into the second quarter, reflecting the effectiveness of its growth initiatives. The consolidated results cover July to September for the quarter and April to September for the half year.

First-half results

For the six months ended September 30, 2026, consolidated revenue reached Rs 15,366 crores, 15% higher than Rs 13,392 crores in the same period of the previous fiscal year, a rise of Rs 1,974 crores. India growth and external pressures

Chairman Onkar Kanwar said growth across categories in India had been supported by the company’s sustained rural expansion efforts and its strategic association with cricket. He also said new product launches in India’s commercial vehicle segment had strengthened performance in the past quarter. At the same time, he identified geopolitical tensions in West Asia as a continuing headwind, leading to higher input costs and supply chain disruptions.

CFO appointment

The board also approved the appointment of Ravi Kumar Shingari as chief financial officer, effective November 4, 2026. Shingari joined Apollo Tyres in 2018 as group head, finance, and has held responsibilities in budgeting, accounts and investor relations. More recently, he was given additional responsibility for legal matters.

Before joining Apollo Tyres, Shingari spent more than 16 years at KPMG, where his final role was partner, tax and regulatory. He is a chartered accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce (B.Com (Hons)) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. In his new role, he will report directly to Neeraj Kanwar, vice chairman and managing director. The CFO appointment takes effect after the reporting period.
